The Township of Georgian Bay owns and operates the MacTier Union Cemetery - offering dignified and respectful interment services to Georgian Bay residents.

Making end-of-life arrangements can be an emotional and difficult time for families. Our friendly staff are available to help guide you through the process of making burial decisions for your loved one.

If you are looking to purchase a cemetery lot, our friendly staff can guide you through the planning process and answer any questions you may have. If you need more information regarding the purchase of interment rights, making interment arrangements, inquiries, and maintenance concerns, please contact the Clerks Department during regular office hours at 705-538-2337 ext.268, or email your inquiries to our administration staff.

The Township of Georgian Bay holds a Cemetery Operator Licence # 3286954 under the Funeral, Burial, and Cremation Services Act, 2002.
