Township of Georgian Bay Offers New March Break Ice Opportunities

TOWNSHIP OF GEORGIAN BAY, ON – February 4, 2026 – The Township of Georgian Bay is inviting residents and neighbouring communities to lace up and take over the rink this March Break, renting the ice is a perfect way to celebrate birthdays, host family gatherings and community fundraisers.

MacTier Memorial Arena is a hub for activity and available for rental from Monday, March 16 to Friday, March 20 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, non-prime rates include times from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM. All rates are available

With the ice, bright lights, and a wide-open rink waiting, March Break offer a chance to turn quiet hours into unforgettable moments. Whether you’re dreaming up an energetic family skate, planning a unique birthday party, organizing a community fundraiser, or gathering friends for a private game, the Township’s facilities are ready to host your celebration.

Rental includes access to the ice surface and facility amenities, with non-prime rates offering excellent value for families and organizers looking for a stand-out March Break experience. All bookings must be received prior to Friday, February 27, 2026 at 3:00 PM.
