Township of Georgian Bay Asset Management Plan 2020
The Asset Management Plan was presented to Council on February 14, 2022.
The Township of Georgian Bay's $57 million in infrastructure assets support our community’s economic, social and environmental well-being and growth.
The Township’s infrastructure assets include:
- Roads, sidewalks, streetlights, parking
- Recreational facilities and buildings
- Storm sewer infrastructure such as pipes, culverts
- Parks and natural capital
- Fleet vehicles (e.g. fire trucks, snow plows and buses)
- Equipment such as playgrounds, lawn mowers, electric vehicle charging stations, and firefighting equipment
- Information technology services.
Comprehensive asset management planning helps us to understand the overall health and needs of these valuable assets and make informed decisions for the future.
