Informal Notice of Planning Council Meeting
“Special Meeting Summary” and “Final Topics” for the
2026/28 Georgian Bay Official Plan
Comprehensive Review and
Bill 98 New Framework Update (“Review”)

Date: December 8, 2026, 9:00 a.m.
Location: Council Chambers and online via Zoom

The Council Chambers are in the Township offices at 99 Lone Pine Road, Port Severn, Ontario, Canada.
A Planning Services Report will be presented to Planning Council that:

1. Summarizes what Planning staff heard at the Special Meeting on August 26, 2026;
2. Proposes final topics for the Review to Planning Council for approval; and
3. Discusses the next steps for the Review.

Everyone is encouraged to participate. You may take part by:

1. Submitting comments to the Planning Department by email at planning@gbtownship.ca, by regular mail, or by using the drop box located beside the front doors at the Administration Centre.
2. Requesting a Zoom link to attend the special meeting online by contacting planning@gbtownship.ca prior to 3:00 pm on December 7, 2026.
3. Attending the meeting in person at the Council Chambers.
