Thank you for your applications, the 2024 Municipal Grant intake is now closed until January 2025. All applicants will be notified by April 30, 2024 of their grant status. 

The Township of Georgian Bay helps non-profit organizations and volunteer groups host community celebrations, festivals and programs. We have two grant funding opportunities: Municipal Recreation Grant and Community Event Grant are now combined into one application open to Cottage and Lake Associations, Event Organizers and Community groups.

The new amalgamated Municipal Grant Policy.

Apply by March 31 for up to $1,500 of available funding! Other forms of assistance include free or subsidized use of Township facilities and equipment as outlined in the Township's Facility Usage Policy. 

How to apply

Complete the application form for your grants on our E-services portal. You will need to create an account, if you have not done so already.

Visit E-Services customer portal and follow these steps:

1. Create an Account (Guest Account)

Once you have created the account, you will need to verify it with the email used to create. Once you’ve verified, login again and complete the additional information requested.

2. Click Submit Applications: 311 Request.

4. Go to Create Now in the top right-hand side of the screen

6. Select Municipal Grant Request.

8. Fill out the application.

Receiving Your Grant Money

The Township of Georgian Bay is moving towards paperless payments and would like to provide funds to you via e-transfer. Please follow the directions and submit the form to accounting@gbtownship.ca
