OPERATIONS CONTINUE TO CLEAN UP AFTER CHRISTMAS STORM

Township of Georgian Bay, Ontario – The Township remains under a significant weather event declaration, as significant volumes of snow accumulated over the weekend. The Township of Georgian Bay staff continue to work diligently to clear roadways.

Priority is given to District of Muskoka roads as well as areas where Hydro One needs to work to restore power. Some sideroads remain impassible.

It is recommended to stay home, stay safe and only travel, when necessary, as staff will continue to service the area based on priority sequence.
