Residents of Honey Harbour have fundraised dollars to support the to creation of 6 Pickleball courts at the Honey Harbour Park.

Lead fundraisers Rob and Michelle Krizmanich, presented to Council the concept of installing 6 Pickleball courts at the park and have already initiated a fundraising campaign. To be able to include the courts at the park the project will cost $300,000. Rob and wife Michelle have already confirmed $165,000 in pledges. In order to move the project forward a minimum of $150,000 must be secured.

The Pickleball courts will be utilized for all ages to play casual games and to host tournaments. If you can see yourself participating in this fast growing sport we invite you to support the creation of Pickleball courts in Honey Harbour by sponsoring. 

We have multiple ways you can submit your sponsorship:

  • E-Transfers

    • send to payment@gbtownship.ca
    • A security question is required and all answers need to be sent to payment@gbtownship.ca.
      • In the email with the security answer please add details of what you are donating to and who at the Township should be notified (Jennifer Schnier, Director of Sustainability). 
      • Example: The answer to the security question is DonationHH2022 which is my donation to the pickleball courts in Honey Harbour. Please notify Jennifer Schnier, Director of Sustainability of my donation.
    • We understand that e-transfers have daily maximums, staff will monitor donations to ensure accumulative amounts are designated to the correct donor.

  • In person

    • Office hours Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, closed from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM for cleaning.

All donation dollar amounts and donor information is protected by MFIPPA. In other words, we will not share your contact and donation information. 

All donations to this Pickleball Project are eligible for a tax receipt, and will be issued before February 2023.
