Simcoe Muskoka Workforce Development Board

Simcoe Muskoka Workforce Development Board is one of 26 local planning board areas funded by the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development. They help business owners with questions about the local workforce and labour market planning. The Board:

  • Researches and releases a workforce report about the labour force in Simcoe County and Muskoka
  • Consults with communities to provide an overview of the local labour market – and the trends and issues affecting it
  • Provides information about local opportunities, what skills are available in the area and what industries suffer possible shortages
