On December 1, the Georgian Bay General Hospital (GBGH) Foundation launched
a one-day GivingTuesday campaign to fundraise for 2 End Tidal C02 Monitors. Thanks to more than 110
individual donors, and a matching gift of $10,000 from Nick & Marina Boudouris (owners of OPA
Catering, the World Famous Dock Lunch, Pier 21 and operators of Restaurant Sainte-Marie), a total

On behalf of Mayor Koetsier, Council and Fire Chief Tony Van Dam, we are delighted to share that a new fire truck has arrived at the Honey Harbour (Station 1) Fire Station.
Fire Chief Tony Van Dam approached the procurement process with a new way of thinking; looking outside the Province for exactly what was required.

The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit would like to inform residents and visitors that further laboratory analysis confirm the presence of blue-green algae impacting the northwest and southwest shoreline of Little Lake in Port Severn (Bonneville Road and Port Severn Road area), Township of Georgian Bay.

Mayor and Council of the Township of Georgian Bay has made the difficult decision to defer the hosting of the second annual Honey Bee Festival on Saturday, October 3, 2020. Events such as the Honey Bee Fun Run, Marketplace, Golf Tournament, Art Show, Entertainment, Mayor’s Gala were set to take place in Honey Harbour and Port Severn and will not take place as a direct result of the environment caused by the global pandemic of COVID-19.
