Township of Georgian Bay, Ontario – The Township of Georgian Bay has various committees that meet to discuss topics affecting citizens of Georgian Bay. These organized groups are comprised of community member volunteers that apply to be involved. The Township of Georgian Bay is seeking interested community members to apply. Pickleball Courts in Honey Harbour
Port Severn, Township of Georgian Bay, Ontario – Residents of Honey Harbour have identified an interest in having six (6) pickleball courts constructed at Honey Harbour Park with an estimated cost of $300,000.
Township residents have committed to fund a minimum of 50% of the project and have deposited $100,000 with the Township in trust to date.

On behalf of Mayor Koetsier, Council and Fire Chief Tony Van Dam, we are delighted to share that a new fire truck has arrived at the Honey Harbour (Station 1) Fire Station.
Fire Chief Tony Van Dam approached the procurement process with a new way of thinking; looking outside the Province for exactly what was required.
Chief Van Dam found a Freightliner, M2 106 Crusader built to perfection. With marine-grade body and an 800-gallon tank, this pumper is ready and able to assist the crew in any emergency.
