Immediate Release
December 10, 2020 – The COVID-19 outbreak on all inpatient units at Georgian Bay General Hospital (GBGH), declared December 4 in consultation with the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit, continues.
As of the end of day December 9, there have been the following cases related to the outbreak:
- Six inpatient cases
- Four remain admitted in hospital
- One discharged home
- One death
- 17 staff/credentialed staff cases

a one-day GivingTuesday campaign to fundraise for 2 End Tidal C02 Monitors. Thanks to more than 110
individual donors, and a matching gift of $10,000 from Nick & Marina Boudouris (owners of OPA
