Port Severn Main Dam and Fixed Bridge Construction Update
January 28, 2021 – The Main Dam and Fixed Bridge project in Port Severn is currently in phase 2 of a two-phase construction schedule which includes construction of sluices 1-4 on the west side of the Main Dam and the adjacent portion of the Fixed Bridge.

Immediate Release
December 10, 2020 – The COVID-19 outbreak on all inpatient units at Georgian Bay General Hospital (GBGH), declared December 4 in consultation with the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit, continues.
As of the end of day December 9, there have been the following cases related to the outbreak:
Six inpatient cases
Four remain admitted in hospital
One discharged home
One death
17 staff/credentialed staff cases

On December 1, the Georgian Bay General Hospital (GBGH) Foundation launched
a one-day GivingTuesday campaign to fundraise for 2 End Tidal C02 Monitors.
